O C H A S is an allegorical exploration of the aesthetic and theological sensibilities maintained in many Afro-Caribbean cultures. With an intent to demystify and elevate non-western norms, the ethos of the work is based in regality; an adjective rarely associated with pejorative ideologies relating to "voodoo", Obeah, or Santeria.

Symbology and nuance are the guiding principles to this collection of work. Examinations of identity, sexuality, and the general wherewithal-ness of blackness fuel the stagings of the collection. O C H A S intends to offer a glance into the sophistication and mystery many afro-based diasporic retentions offer its practitioners; a view inwards presented outwardly.

The majority of the collection is composed using large format cameras to reflect and duplicate the patience and mindfulness many of these practices mandate.
